Skills & Abilities

I am very well rounded when it comes to my skills and abilities. I have a great working knowledge of the construction industry (from the field perspective). I have enjoyed many years of working in the different trades of the construction industry. I have great computer skills, and am proficient in most Microsoft applications. My skills also extend into the sales and business management areas. Public relations is an ability I excel in, and keeping a customer happy always comes first. I am a quick learner and enjoy learning new things.

Ensured that projects I was given were completed, this included small construction and home remodeling projects. Also made sure other employees had work and that it was completed correctly and in a timely fashion.

I performed different needs for the company, anything from merchandising to in-store service. This company did a lot of resets and remodels for the Home Depot Company.

These were my companies that I owned and managed. Was responsible for all aspects of running a business, including employee’s needs, bookwork, sales, and labor.

PRIOR WORK HISTORY

What is not shown is many years of construction experience, including five years as a residential/commercial painter, 7 years of floor covering experience, and three years in the masonry/stone mason field, and many years of being involved in most other trades in the construction industry. I have a very good working knowledge of all aspects of home improvement and remodel. I have been on such projects as Hill AFB, The National Guard Airport hangers, and The Adult Detention Center. I very much enjoy the construction industry and especially learning anything new.

Education

Ashford University/ Iowa

I carried a 3.0 or better GPA throughout my attendance here, and I have been on the Dean’s List. I have graduated with my BA in Business on 8/25/2014., and am planning on finishing my MBA with a specialization in Project Management, by the end of 2015.

Leadership

I have supervised many different crews and teams of people. I enjoy being in the leadership position, where I can train and teach others. I get great satisfaction from the success of others as well as myself.
